Metroflex Gym of Plano: November 2009

Nationals 2009 is quickly approaching, the athletes are 5 days out as I write this! Here at Metroflex Gym of Plano we are being proudly represented by 3 great athletes.

Chulsey Graham is making his first appearance as a National Level Heavyweight. While he has been a top National level competitor as a lightheavyweight, his body just simply outgrew a 198 pound weight limit. He was continuously sacrificing muscle to make his weight class and made the decision to go ahead and enter Nationals as a heavyweight contender.

Steve Kuclo will be back at Nationals as a Superheavyweight. After a very impressive 3rd place finish last year Steve has had his eye on this title since he stepped off stage last year. The superheavyweight class is DEEP this year, so it will definitely be a battle.

Sylvia Roule will be making her first Nationals appearance. Sylvia is fresh off a National qualification at the Europa Super Show in Dallas and is testing the waters in Fort Lauderdale as a Figure competitor.

I have witnessed all three of these athletes pour themselves into their preparations, and I wish them all the best!
